Festival of the Face

About Us

The Festival of the Face is an initiative of the Bega Chamber of Commerce & Industry and currently runs for two weeks coinciding with the biennial Shirley Hannan National Portrait Award.

A community celebration of the creative industries, the arts, cultural activities and innovation across the Bega Valley Shire it showcases those people who do ordinary and extraordinary things to make the Shire such a dynamic place to live and celebrates the FACE of every town and village.

We aim to promote existing events and activities as well as create new events and encourage lateral thinking around the theme of the FACE - its not just a face but also a FACEt.
